Job Qualifications:

We’re looking for a candidate who:

Has a passion for fashion and eyewear, with at least 1 year of experience in optical sales preferred
License not required
Is skilled in eyewear adjustments and minor repairs
Is comfortable interpreting and submitting vision insurance claims
Is detail-oriented, organized, and practices strong time management
Is reliable, punctual, and professional
Can multi-task efficiently while maintaining accuracy and timely completion of tasks
Communicates clearly and effectively, both in person and over the phone
Is proficient with computers and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Has an outgoing, friendly personality, and values kindness toward customers and coworkers
Enjoys contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism
Is looking for a long-term opportunity with growth potential
Has availability to work Monday through Friday

Job Responsibilities:

As an Eyewear Consultant, you will:

Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their prescription, face shape, personal style, and lifestyle needs
Clearly explain eyewear prescription terminology and product features in an easy-to-understand way
Demonstrate strong product knowledge of lenses, frames, coatings, and contact lenses
Assist with sales and ordering of prescription contact lenses
Submit vision insurance claims accurately and document all interactions in our EHR system
Work closely with fellow team members to ensure exceptional customer service throughout each visit
Assist patients with contact lens insertion and removal training
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage other front-desk responsibilities
Help maintain a clean, tidy, and organized office space
Serve as a brand ambassador, representing our mission, values, and commitment to outstanding care
