About the role

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Support Client Prospecting: Identify and approach potential business clients through field visits, cold calls, and referrals as well as build and maintain a pipeline of leads.
  • Prepare Product/Service Presentation: Clearly explain the features and benefits of the company’s products/services to prospective clients and conduct in-person demos or presentations as needed.
  • Assist Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Gather information about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences and report field insights to the sales manager.
  • Manage Customer Relationship: Assist in maintaining relationships with existing clients through regular visits and follow-ups and address client queries and redirect complex issues to senior sales staff.
  • Help Sales Support Activities: Support the sales team in organizing meetings, scheduling follow-ups, and preparing sales materials and assist with creating quotes and proposals.
  • Maintain Daily Field Reporting: Maintain detailed records of visits, conversations, and client feedback and submit daily/weekly field reports to the supervisor.
  • Achieve Assigned Targets: Work towards meeting predefined daily/weekly targets related to client visits or lead generation.
  • Participate in Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions to understand sales strategies, negotiation techniques, and product details and shadow senior sales representatives on client visits.
  • Represent Brand: Represent the company professionally during all field interactions and promote the company’s values and build a strong brand image.
