Role Description The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. Daily responsibilities include inspecting machinery, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance schedules, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime. The role involves documenting maintenance activities, collaborating with operations and engineering teams, adhering to safety and compliance standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to ensure optimal performance of machinery and facility systems.
Ability in Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a high-volume, food-tech or manufacturing environment.
Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices, including planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance routines to reduce breakdowns.
Knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
Familiarity with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance requirements in industrial or food processing settings.
Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in manufacturing, food service operations, or industrial facilities is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
