Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based at the Hosur facility. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operations. Daily responsibilities include conducting inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out repairs, and updating maintenance logs and documentation. The role involves implementing preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime, and supporting equipment installation and commissioning. The technician will also follow safety protocols, adhere to quality standards, and collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to improve maintenance processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Preventive Maintenance and related maintenance planning activities.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Prior experience in an automotive or manufacturing plant environment is preferred.
- Commitment to safety practices, quality standards, and accurate record-keeping.
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is beneficial.
