Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Supervisor role based in Hyderabad. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee daily maintenance operations, schedule and assign tasks to maintenance staff, and ensure that equipment and facilities remain safe, reliable, and compliant with company standards. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring preventive maintenance activities, coordinating repairs, and responding promptly to breakdowns or urgent service requests. The role involves inspecting equipment and facilities, maintaining maintenance records, managing spare parts inventory, and collaborating with other departments to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Supervisor will also support vendor coordination, contribute to safety initiatives, and provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to the maintenance team.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team coordination, workload planning, and performance monitoring.
- Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair across mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Experience with maintenance logs, work order systems, and basic maintenance-related reporting.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Prior experience in a supervisory maintenance role in industrial, commercial, or facilities environments is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
