Job Description – Senior Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance In charge /Maintenance Manager
Department: Maintenance
Reporting To: Operations Head
Position Overview
The Senior Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance In charge /Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance operations of the property, leading the maintenance team, and ensuring smooth functioning of all engineering and utility systems to support uninterrupted operations and guest services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance activities across the property.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team including electricians, plumbers, and technicians.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of electrical systems, DG sets, plumbing, HVAC/air-conditioning systems, STP/WTP operations, lighting, and utility systems.
- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance efficiently.
- Coordinate with vendors and AMC service providers.
- Monitor inventory, tools, and spare parts management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, fire & safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Attend emergency maintenance issues during guest operations with minimal disruption.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Minimum 5 + years of experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, or facility maintenance operations.
- Prior experience in team supervision and maintenance management required.
