Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing maintenance activities for facilities, equipment, and related infrastructure. This role includes planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating and supervising maintenance and repair tasks, and ensuring that all machinery and building systems operate safely and efficiently. The Maintenance Manager will lead maintenance staff, allocate resources, manage contractors, and maintain accurate records of work performed, spare parts, and service history. The role also involves identifying improvement opportunities, supporting compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and collaborating with project and operations teams to minimize downtime and support smooth construction and facility operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance Management and Supervisory Skills to lead teams, allocate tasks, and oversee day-to-day maintenance operations.
- Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills to diagnose issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure optimal functioning of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to develop, implement, and monitor maintenance schedules that reduce breakdowns and extend asset life.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, or facilities engineering (or a related field) is beneficial.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial facilities maintenance, including familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are important.
- Ability to use maintenance management software, prepare reports, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
