Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Incharge, based in Bhubaneswar. The Maintenance Incharge will oversee and manage all maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth functioning of machinery and facilities. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing safety standards, and managing a team of technicians. Collaboration with other departments will be essential to ensure operational efficiency and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance practices, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Proficiency in workplace safety standards and compliance with regulations
- Team leadership and management skills, including the ability to mentor and supervise maintenance staff
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and procurement of maintenance materials is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setup is highly desirable
