Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer role located in the Pune/Chakan area. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and execution of equipment maintenance plans, including preventive and corrective maintenance. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime of equipment, and adhering to safety and compliance standards. The individual will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering.
- Hands on experience of 2-5 years in Siemens PLC and drives
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance processes to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Practical experience in Electrical Maintenance and related troubleshooting tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site and adhere to safety protocols and standards.
- Relevant certifications or a degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.
