Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in West Bengal, India, for a Maintenance Engineer. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring proper functioning of all machinery and equipment. Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting machinery issues, conducting preventive maintenance, as well as handling maintenance and repair work. The role also involves monitoring and improving operational efficiency through timely interventions and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance processes
- Skilled in Electrical Maintenance of industrial and plant equipment
- Strong knowledge of safety and compliance protocols
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus
