Job Profile: Machine Maintenance Engineer
Job Overview
Responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting of multiwire,polishline machinery to minimize downtime and ensure peak operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and lead swift breakdown repairs on multiwire machines.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (PLCs, VFDs, servo motors).
• Precision Alignment: Oversee diamond wire tensioning, pulley/drum replacement, and structural alignment.
• Inventory Control: Manage stocks of critical spare parts (wires, bearings, seals) to reduce repair turnaround times.
• Safety & Logistics: Enforce strict safety protocols (LOTO) and maintain detailed breakdown/maintenance logs.
Key Skills
• Expertise in heavy industrial hydraulics, precision linear guides, and automation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and electrical multimeters.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with industrial multiwire/Polishline machinery.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel and handle emergency breakdown calls.
