Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Electrician role based in Mumbai. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across construction and facility sites. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safe and reliable operation of power distribution and control systems. The role involves responding to breakdowns, coordinating with site supervisors and other technicians, and documenting maintenance activities in line with company procedures. The Maintenance Electrician is expected to follow all safety regulations, support continuous improvement of maintenance practices, and contribute to minimizing equipment downtime.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for industrial and building systems.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electricity principles and safe handling of electrical equipment and circuits.
- Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life.
- Relevant technical diploma/ITI certificate in Electrical or a related discipline is preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety standards and local regulations, with a focus on safe on-site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Previous experience as a maintenance electrician in construction, infrastructure, or facilities management is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, reliable work habits, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse site teams.
