🌿 MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
Kadkani River Resort, Coorg is looking for a responsible and hardworking individual to join our Maintenance Team.
📍 Location: Coorg, Karnataka
💼 Position: Maintenance Assistant
🎯 Experience: Freshers and candidates with prior maintenance experience are welcome to apply.
About the Role
The Maintenance Assistant will assist in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the resort, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, equipment and facilities are maintained in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily maintenance and repair work across the resort.
• Attend to maintenance requests from Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments.
• Assist in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repair work.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of equipment and property infrastructure.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and equipment faults to the supervisor.
• Assist with the upkeep of pumps, motors, water systems, lighting and other resort equipment.
• Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are properly maintained.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requirements during guest stays.
• Follow safety procedures while carrying out maintenance work.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
What We’re Looking For
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance work.
• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or a related technical field will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in hotel, resort or building maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new maintenance skills.
• Good communication and coordination with other departments.
• Flexible to work according to resort occupancy and operational requirements, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to attend to urgent maintenance requirements when needed.
