As the Welder, you have a basic knowledge of welding techniques but are eager to learn more. You are a team player with an eagerness to grow and help those around you. You use your time management skills to ensure all tasks are done in an efficient manner. 

As a Welder with Maintainer, you will be responsible for:

  • Appling basic understanding in the operation and maintenance of machines and tools utilized in the manufacturing environment. 
  • Positioning, producing and/or fastening parts in specified relationship to each other according to the manufacturing schedule. 
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workstation, maintaining and wearing all required personal protective safety equipment.
  • Working at different workstations as needs require or shifts from one station to another. Able to promptly produce quality work that satisfies customer requirements.
  • Participating in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and by exhibiting initiative in the area within direct control.
  • Following all organizational, department/area, safety policies, procedures.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One-year prior welding experience is preferred with basic knowledge of welding process. 
  • Must successfully meet the Welding Skills Tests performance qualification requirement. 
  • Must pass drug screen prior to employment. 
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
