About the Role

Maintainer is looking for a Weld Lead Specialist to support production and help lead day-to-day work in the welding area. This Weld Lead Specialist works closely with the Production Supervisor and helps ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help coordinate daily work, schedules, and workflow in the department
  • Step in for the Production Supervisor when needed
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and support production tasks
  • Train and support team members on processes and best practices
  • Help solve problems and keep work moving smoothly
  • Ensure work meets quality standards before moving to the next step
  • Promote and enforce safety and good housekeeping practices
  • Track time, production, and materials as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and suggest better ways of working
