Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production support for mainframe applications
- Analyze and resolve application abends, DB2 issues, CICS/IMS failures
- Develop and enhance programs using COBOL, JCL, DB2
- Perform batch job monitoring, restart/recovery, and performance tuning
- Work on online transactions using CICS and IMS DC
- Perform impact analysis and support minor/major enhancements
- Coordinate with upstream/downstream teams during incidents
- Participate in release activities, code reviews, and deployments

Job Description

- JCL – Job setup, scheduling, troubleshooting

- VSAM datasets handling
- Strong knowledge of batch and online processing
- Experience with production support tools and incident management
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills

- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Good documentation and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- Experience in application modernization or migration
- Exposure to DevOps or automation in mainframe
