OverviewWe're looking for a compassionate, organized Patient Expeditor to join our Radiology Outpatient Imaging team and play a key role in delivering a seamless, patient-centered experience.
Responsibilities• Greet patients and escort them to registration and exam rooms, ensuring comfort and confidentiality at every step
• Explain the imaging workflow process to patients and families, setting clear expectations
• Monitor waiting areas and exam rooms, proactively addressing any patient concerns or dissatisfaction
• Coordinate time-sensitive scheduling, including emergent over-bookings in collaboration with technologists and administration
• Contact other departments to facilitate smooth patient flow and timely communication
• Ensure all medical documentation is accurately processed
• Provide administrative support including transportation coordination, consent form processing, and uploading imaging into the EMR
• Assist in compiling outpatient imaging statistics and QI reports
QualificationsWHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• GED or high school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of patient care, confidentiality, and radiology outpatient imaging workflows
• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply — second language a plus!
Pay RangeUSD $51,000.00 - USD $64,000.00 /Yr.
