Assistant Manager - SQE, E&E (Chakan, Chakan, IN)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

- Provide support and involvement in new product development of Electrical & electronics components especially eEad lamp, Tail lamp - Identifying & driving improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP.
- Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and Product. 
- Monitor supplier performance, supplier audits and Corrective Action Plan (SCAP) / G8D  etc.
- Collaboration - Work closely with cross functional teams to address quality issues and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Ensure lessons learned from product families are shared with platform team for new product development as input for prevention of known issues.
- Daily work management - Daily concern status tracking, Monthly performance monitoring, Timely Analysis of concern.

Develop and ensure implementation of Systems at supplier end:
- Conduct supplier audits and verify compliance with specification and industry standards
- Investigate and resolve quality related issues in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams by using Systematic Approach & Problem solving tools (Six Sigma, QC Story etc.)
- Evaluation of performance and monitor the improvement plan through enhancing technical capabilities and knowledge.

Education Qualification

> BE/B Tech - Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Automobile / Mechanical Engg. 

General Experience

> 8 ~ 10 years  for  BE/B Tech Candidates

Strong understanding of product and manufacturing process of automotive lamps ( Head lamp, Tail lamp,  etc,..)

Manufacturing process knowledge for injection moulding, Assembly, surface treatment, Surface Mountig gtechnology, other soldering process,

Prefererable to have process knowledge and product application knowledge of  Wiring harness, Switches, infotainment, Sensor, Motors - Starter, Alternator, Wiper, etcc

Experience in Manufacturing process development, process audits, quality/problem solving tools, APQP/PPAP

Problem solving methodology through Six Sigma / QC Story is preferable.

Daily Work management and collaborative work with Plant CFT & Suppliers.
