About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services. In this role, you will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform nuclear medicine exams, and ensure safe, accurate imaging that supports exceptional patient care. Your expertise will directly enhance clinical outcomes and strengthen our radiology team.

What You’ll Do

Nuclear Medicine Imaging & Patient Care

• Perform nuclear medicine exams following established protocols to ensure accurate diagnostic results • Assess patients’ medical history and clinical status to support exam preparation and safety • Explain exam procedures to patients and families to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation • Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness

Radiopharmaceutical Preparation & Safety

• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction • Follow radiation safety standards for handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials • Measure radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers, and scintillation detectors

Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Seek and accept direction from Radiologists and Technical Directors to support clinical accuracy • Participate in Radiation Safety Committee meetings and quarterly physicist surveys • Assist with clinical instruction and supervision of Radiologic Technology students

Equipment, Systems & Documentation

• Operate nuclear medicine imaging and non-imaging equipment with technical proficiency • Perform equipment calibrations, adjustments, and routine quality checks • Maintain logs, patient files, and compliance documentation for NRC/State inspections
