About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Human Resources Intern to support our HR team while gaining hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee benefits. This internship blends practical learning with real-world HR responsibilities, helping you apply classroom knowledge in a professional healthcare environment. You’ll gain exposure to the full HR lifecycle and develop skills essential for a future career in Human Resources.
What You’ll Do
HR Compliance & Administration
• Learn the fundamentals of employment law, compliance, and handling confidential information • Support the organization of personnel files, document storage, and HRIS data maintenance • Assist with policy, form management, and secure handling of sensitive HR documentation • Participate in daily HR and employee relations activities
Recruiting, Onboarding & Orientation
• Shadow the HR Recruiter through the full recruitment and onboarding process • Help prepare and distribute performance evaluations and track completion in the database • Support new hire paperwork, payroll coordination, and interdepartmental processes
Employee Benefits & HR Operations
• Learn about benefits enrollment, renewals, troubleshooting, and employee support • Assist with open enrollment activities and benefits-related communications • Gain exposure to HR–Finance collaboration, payroll systems, and reporting
Engagement, Events & Special Projects
• Assist with planning and organizing hospital events and employee engagement activities • Support HR projects as assigned to broaden exposure to multiple HR functions
