We’re hiring a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. This role is essential to infection prevention, patient comfort, and overall hospital operations. As part of our Environmental Services team, you’ll ensure high-quality cleaning standards across patient rooms, public areas, and clinical spaces.
What You’ll Do
Environmental Cleaning & Sanitation
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, and public areas • Wash beds, mattresses, furniture, and prepare rooms after patient discharge • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility • Replace soiled cubicle curtains and ensure all areas meet hospital cleanliness standards
Patient & Facility Support
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to designated disposal areas • Dust lights, televisions, and high-touch surfaces to support infection control • Clean elevators, polish metal surfaces, and maintain overall appearance of the facility
Cross-Functional Collaboration / Operations
• Maintain housekeeping closets in clean, organized condition • Use only hospital-approved disinfectants and cleaning products • Support departmental needs and assist with special cleaning projects as assigned
Systems & Administration (Safety & Compliance)
• Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines • Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information in accordance with HIPAA
