About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliation, and daily accounting operations. This role ensures accuracy across financial systems, supports month-end close, and contributes to regulatory compliance. As a key member of our Finance team, you’ll help maintain strong financial controls and reliable reporting using GAAP principles.
What You’ll Do
Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
• Reconcile bank statements, cash logs, and system records to ensure accurate financial reporting • Verify daily system balances and confirm proper posting of cash items • Assist with prepaid maintenance and financial analysis tasks • Support month-end closing and documentation of account balances
Accounting Operations & Compliance
• Prepare and submit sales tax returns accurately and on time
• Assist with audits and cost report data collection
• Maintain statistical spreadsheets and distribute data as requested
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Joint Commission standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration / Department Support
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, financial, and organizational information
• Support departmental projects and respond to requests professionally
Systems & Administration (Accounting Systems & Reporting Tools)
• Utilize accounting software, Excel, and Microsoft Office to complete daily tasks
• Maintain accurate documentation and support data integrity across systems
