Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a MAG Welder based in Bettiah. The MAG Welder will be responsible for welding metal components using Metal Active Gas (MAG) welding processes. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical blueprints, preparing and assembling metal pieces, performing welding tasks with precision, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and conducting quality checks on welded structures. The role also involves identifying and troubleshooting potential defects, maintaining welding equipment, and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MAG welding techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience in metal preparation, assembly, and material handling
- Understanding of welding safety protocols and practices
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality assurance
- Physical stamina and ability to work long hours in industrial environments
- Previous experience or certification in welding is preferred
- Adaptable, safety-conscious, and a collaborative team member
