</div><div>Overview<br>We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.<br><br>
</div><div>Duties<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.</li>
<li>Maintain floors through regular care, including buffing and waxing as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained at all times.</li>
<li>Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.</li>
<li>Conduct minor maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are in good working condition.</li>
<li>Assist with industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning projects efficiently.</li>
<li>Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.</li>
</ul><div>Skills<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.</li>
<li>Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing and waxing.</li>
<li>Experience in residential painting is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.</li>
<li>Basic facilities maintenance skills are advantageous.</li>
<li>Porter experience is beneficial for managing high traffic areas effectively.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li>
