Associate General Counsel would be responsible for performing and managing assigned legal and compliance functions in support of the Company’s business operations.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and Law Degree required (must be from accredited institution).
Bar admission.
Minimum of 10 years experience in government procurement and acquisition law.
Experience with DOD international ocean and intermodal transportation contracts is highly desired.
Experience in ethics/compliance, export control, and intellectual property is a plus.
Military experience a plus.
U.S. Citizenship and eligible for DOD security clearance

Excellent analytical and writing skills
Ability to integrate legal analysis with business judgment
Ability to understand and apply law and contract terms to intermodal transportation operations
Capacity to become a subject matter expert in pertinent areas (quick study)
Self starter with capability to operate independently within company guidelines
Excellent advocacy skills
Effective negotiating skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all working levels
Good working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and the ability to quickly grasp and work with new systems.
