JOB TITLE | Accountant
Madison Country Day School, an independent PreK-12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, is seeking a detail-oriented full-time School Accountant to serve as the engine of our Business Office. This role is perfect for an accounting professional who loves the "how" of finance: managing the day-to-day lifecycle of school funds, ensuring our records are audit-ready, and providing clear financial support to our families and staff. You will work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure the fiscal health of our school. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will be a key partner in maintaining the school's fiscal health. Approximate start date: July 1, 2026.

- Tuition & Billing: Lead the student billing process, including processing enrollment deposits, managing payment plans, and reconciling financial aid awards.
- AP / AR: Oversee vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Audit & Tax: Prepare work papers and schedules for the annual financial and retirement audits, prepare 1095-C forms, and assist in the preparation of the Form 990.
