About the role

As a Principal RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and characterization of high performance RF power amplifiers and related components. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the design and implementation of high efficiency, linear RF power amplifier circuits and systems with a deep understanding of device physics, RF circuit design, and measurement techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leveraging advanced simulation and optimization tools to drive high performance RF power amplifier designs. Responsibilities: - Design and develop high performance, linear RF power amplifier circuits and systems - Use advanced simulation and optimization tools (e.g. Keysight, AWR, ANSYS) to drive power amplifier design - Characterize and validate RF power amplifier performance through measurement and test - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, applications, and manufacturing - Support product development activities including design reviews, reliability and qualification testing - Drive continuous improvement in power amplifier design and performance Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics - 10+ years of relevant industry experience in RF power amplifier design - Extensive experience with RF circuit design and optimization using simulation tools - Solid understanding of device physics, microwave measurements, and test systems - Proven track record of delivering high performance RF power amplifier designs - Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
