Recruiting Coordinator

Mackay Communications, Inc., is a USA headquartered, global marine electronics and satellite communications company employing 350 people in fourteen (14) countries including the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Mackay Communications, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator to work the night shift and remotely support our USA recuitment team. Recruiting Coordinator Job Overview The Recruiting Coordinator reports to and assists the USA Director of Worldwide Human Resources to support Mackay's hiring needs globally. The Recruiting Coordinator will help identify new sources to recruit talent and help manage the flow of candidates from screening CV's/resumes, to conducting preliminary interviews, arranging testing, and internal communications. Will also maintain applicant logs applicant documentation in accordance with established procedures. 1. Work hours are 8:30 to 17:00 New York time, Monday through Friday. 2. Will follow Mackay's policies and procedures. 3. Will assist Corporate HR with the recruiting efforts for Mackay worldwide. 4. Identify new sources of to recruit talent including Internet Job Sites; local newspapers, Headhunters, military outplacement; Government Work sites, as well as Maritime and Technical schools in each country. 5. Screen incoming CVs using basic Attributes using a scorecard that Mackay has developed. 6. Conduct initial screening calls; set up testing. 7. Maintain list of candidates and specific information which is required for compliance reporting and Labor Law regulations. 8. Maintains active candidate logs for the promising candidates. 9. Maintain constant communication the recruiting team on new openings and staus of existing openings.
