Job Description – Plastic Bag Making Machine Operator
Position: Machine Operator – Side Sealing
Industry: Flexible Packaging / Plastic Packaging
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Machine Operator for plastic packaging bag manufacturing.The candidate should have hands-on experience in operating side sealing especially Mamta machines.
Machines to be Operated
1. Mamta Machinery Side Sealing Machine – Vega 750+
2. Mamta Machinery Side Sealing Machine – Vega 1000+
3. Mamta Machinery Wicketers W800 series
4. Mamta Bottom Sealing
Job Responsibilities
Operate and handle side sealing and bottom sealing machines independently.
Run production for:
1. Plastic Courier Bags POD Jacket Bags (With POD & Without POD)
2. Tamper Evident Security Bags
3. Wicketed Bags
4. Garments Bags
Set machine parameters according to job specifications.
Maintain production quality and minimize rejection/wastage.
Ensure proper sealing quality, bag dimensions, and finishing.
Perform basic troubleshooting during machine operation.
Coordinate with production and quality departments for smooth running.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in flexible packaging or plastic bag manufacturing industry.
Must have practical knowledge of:
Mamta Vega 750+
Mamta Vega 1000+
Bottom sealing machines
Should be able to handle courier bag and security bag jobs independently.
Knowledge of machine setting, production handling, and quality control.
Ability to work in shifts and under production targets.
Preferred Skills :
Good understanding of side sealing and bottom sealing process.
Ability to reduce wastage and improve machine efficiency.
Team handling and coordination skills will be an added advantage.
