About the company Our client is one of India's largest FMCG companies, with a portfolio spanning health care, personal care, home care, and foods. Our Tezpur manufacturing unit in Assam is a key production facility supporting Dabur's national and international operations.
About the role We are hiring three Machine Operators for the Packing Line at the Tezpur unit. These roles are central to maintaining production output, line uptime, and packing quality across rotational shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Operate packing line machinery during production runs
- Handle preventive and corrective maintenance routines to minimize downtime
- Manage Raw Material (RM) and Packing Material (PM) issuance at the operator's station
- Support batch planning execution on the line
- Maintain quality, safety, and SOP compliance throughout the shift
- Escalate operational issues to the Shift In-charge in a timely manner
Required qualifications
- ITI qualification in a relevant trade
- 2–5 years of experience as a Machine Operator on an FMCG packing line or similar manufacturing line
- Working knowledge of Line Operations, Batch Planning, RM/PM Issue, and basic machine Maintenance
- Willingness to work rotational shifts (day, evening, night)
- Working proficiency in Hindi, English, and Assamese
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in FMCG packing operations
- Exposure to compliance and food-grade or pharma-grade manufacturing standards
