Machine Learning Engineer Intern

Stipend: ₹12,000 per month
Conversion: Potential to convert to Full-time / Contract based on performance
Role Description
AIEstatech is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer Intern to join our small, high-ownership team.
This is a hybrid role where you will work directly with the founders and collaborate closely with a data scientist in a fast-moving 2-member technical team. You will contribute to real product development, not just experiments.
This opportunity is suitable for freshers, final-year students, and entry-level candidates. It can also be taken alongside current commitments if you are working remotely or in a hybrid setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building, training, and optimizing ML models
- Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, and dataset preparation
- Experiment with Deep Learning, NLP, or Computer Vision models
- Support deployment and implementation of ML solutions
- Contribute to technical solution development and implementation support
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready Python code
- Participate in product discussions and technical decision-making
- Conduct research, testing, and prototyping of new ideas
- Document experiments, technical workflows, and results clearly
Qualifications (Freshers Can Apply)
- Strong proficiency in Python (Java is a plus)
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Keras, or PyTorch (academic/project experience acceptable)
- Understanding of ML fundamentals, Deep Learning, NLP, or Computer Vision concepts
- Good grasp of algorithms and basic statistics
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Data Science concepts
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (final-year students may apply)
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly
- Comfortable working in a small team with direct founder interaction
- Strong ownership mindset and eagerness to learn
