Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Machine Learning Engineer. The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models, particularly in the context of pathology imaging. The role involves developing algorithms for pattern recognition, working with neural networks, and advancing AI-driven workflows. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to apply statistical methods and computer science principles for solving complex problems across the pathology domain.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pattern Recognition and application to large-scale data
- Strong foundation in Algorithms and core Computer Science concepts
- Experience with Neural Networks and their practical implementations
- Proficiency in Statistics and data-driven decision making
- Ability to research, develop, and optimize machine learning solutions
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and distributed systems is a plus
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a remote team environment
