The opportunity: To be supporting the global finance director and chief finance officer with the day-to-day financial management of the business. Assisting in monthly forecasting/annual planning. Assisting with project performance and reporting. Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data. Reviewing and reconciliating of accounting entries. Preparing accounting entries for posting to the accounts. Treasury and cashflow forecasting. Supporting ad hoc requests for information from senior management and internal / external stakeholders. Seeking opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes. Developing effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Drives performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching. You'll need to have: Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval. Full qualifications as accountant. ACA, ACMA or ACCA qualification or equivalent. Experience with tier 1 ERP systems, Oracle Fusion and Cognos TM1 would be a great advantage. Good communication skills. Substantial experience in the use of computer software products (including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
