About Outline India
Outline India is a research and consulting organization specializing in impact evaluation, survey research, and policy analysis. We collect intelligence from the grassroots — running field research and data collection across India and Southeast Asia for government ministries, multilateral organizations, and private sector partners.
Walk-ins are open from 29th April 2026 onwards between 9:30-11AM at our Gurgaon office.
Key Responsibilities
I. M&E and Research
- Create and deploy digital surveys using CAPI programs (SurveyCTO)
- Manage data quality, cleaning, and documentation processes
- Conduct statistical analysis using STATA or PYTHON for program evaluation
- Author evaluation reports and policy recommendations
- Develop impact evaluation studies using experimental and quasi-experimental methods
- Ensure compliance with relevant M&E frameworks, standards, and ethical guidelines
- Experience in survey design and data collection methodologies
II. Field Operations
- Lead field team training on M&E methodologies and data collection
- Monitor data collection at project sites and field research experience across India
- Oversee field logistics and budgets for evaluations
- Review and adapt M&E tools to local contexts, including translations
- Conduct mid-term and end-term evaluations, including needs assessments and impact evaluations.
III. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare regular M&E reports for stakeholders, including donors, partners, and management.
- Present findings through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Document lessons learned and recommend improvements to programs
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI etc.)
- Ensure alignment of M&E systems with project objectives and expected outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Development Studies, or related field
- 7+ years of M&E experience in development sector
- Experience with digital data collection platforms
- Strong quantitative research and statistical analysis skills
- Excellent technical writing abilities
- Impact evaluation expertise
