M Culinary Concept is searching for a passionate Commis Chef to join our vibrant team and help us create incredible catering experiences across the Southwest. About the Role: 

A Commis Chef supports the culinary team in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves assisting with food prep, maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, and following recipes and chef instructions with accuracy and consistency. The Commis Chef works closely with senior chefs to develop fundamental culinary skills, ensures proper food handling and safety standards are met, and contributes to efficient kitchen operations during service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their culinary career while gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for candidates with a foundational understanding of kitchen operations and a passion for developing their culinary skills. Prior experience in a professional kitchen as a line cook or prep cook is preferred. The ideal candidate has basic knife skills, familiarity with food preparation techniques, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a plus, along with the ability to follow recipes, take direction, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
