M Culinary Concept is searching for a passionate Catering Sous Chef to join our vibrant team and help us create incredible catering experiences across the Southwest. About the Role: 

The Catering Sous Chef plays a key role in supporting the Production Chef and Executive Sous Chef to ensure timely execution, quality, and presentation of food for high-volume events. This position takes ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, including delegating production, supporting scheduling and labor management, and leading teams to successfully execute all Banquet Event Orders. The Catering Sous Chef will mentor and train staff, lead or support Back of House teams at off-site events and collaborate with procurement to ensure high-quality ingredients are delivered on time. This role also contributes to menu development, recipe standardization, and maintaining inspection-ready kitchens, all while fostering a positive, high-energy team culture.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced culinary professional who brings at least three years of leadership experience, managing a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in culinary arts, a genuine enthusiasm for food and cooking techniques, and the ability to lead with confidence and positivity. Strong communication, active listening skills, and basic computer proficiency are essential, along with a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards in both team performance and food quality.
