Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an M&A - Private Equity - Strategy Consultant (Investment Banking) based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some flexibility for remote work. The Consultant will be responsible for advising clients on investment strategies, conducting due diligence, analyzing financial data, and providing accounting support for mergers and acquisitions. Other key responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, constructing comprehensive financial models, and delivering actionable strategic recommendations to private equity clients and corporations.

Compensation:
BASIC package , High bonus and commission
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain active relationships with venture capital firms, growth equity funds, private equity firms, family offices, and strategic acquirers
- Leverage portable relationships to drive partıcipation in capital raises (Pre-Seed through Series C) and lower middle market M&A processes
- Conduct senior-to-senior outreach to decision-makers during active mandates
- Pre-sound priority investors prior to formal launches to assess appetite, valuation sensitivity, and structure preferences
- Increase investor meetings, indications of interest, term sheets, and lOls across transactions
- Facilitate direct introductions between a LONDON & BAIN Capital
issuers and qualified investors
- Enhance competitive tension and investor engagement throughout transaction lifecycles

- Provide market intelligence on fund cycles, capital availability, sector appetite, and valuation trends
- Collaborate with internal execution teams to align investor targeting strategy
- Maintain disciplined tracking of investor relationships and engagement activity
Qualifications
- Must have established, portable, and currently active investor relationships that will engage in live transactions
- Existing connectivity across venture capital, growth equity, private equity, family office, and/or strategic buyer communities
- Strong understanding of early-stage through growth-stage capital raising dynamics
- Deep knowledge of lower middle market M&A processes
- Demonstrated ability to generate warm engagement from senior investment protessionals
- Experience in investment banking, capital markets advisory, venture capital, private equity, or corporate development
- Strong executive presence and credibility with founders, CEOs, and institutional investors
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a performance-driven environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with transaction teams
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data and provide clear and actionable business insights
- Proficiency in Finance, including financial modeling, strategic planning, and valuation
- Experience in conducting Due Diligence to assess the financial and operational aspects of potential investments
- Solid understanding of Accounting principles and their application in financial transactions
- Proven experience with Investments, including market analysis and investment appraisal
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; CFA/CPA qualifications are a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative, and multicultural environment
