Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for M&A/PE/VC lawyers with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). Based in Mumbai, the role involves advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions. Key responsibilities include conducting due diligence, analyzing financial data, structuring deals, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and negotiating agreements in alignment with client objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess legal and business implications and resolve complex issues effectively
- Experience in conducting comprehensive due diligence to identify risks and opportunities in M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions
- Understandings of investment strategies and frameworks for advising clients on potential opportunities
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
- Prior experience in a similar legal role, preferably in the M&A, private equity, or venture capital sectors
