Role DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated M&A Internship Trainee / M&A Research Analyst to join our Delhi office. The role involves supporting M&A research, company analysis, industry mapping, buyer/investor identification, valuation work, financial modeling support, and preparation of client-ready materials such as profiles, pitch decks, teasers, and information memorandums.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct company, industry, and market research using public and client-provided sources.
- Assist with target identification, long list building, and company screening exercises.
- Prepare company profiles, market maps, buyer lists, investor lists, and concise industry summaries.
- Support preparation of pitch decks, teasers, information memorandums, and other presentation materials.
- Assist with comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and valuation support.
- Organize research findings clearly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Track sources, maintain accuracy, and ensure clean formatting across deliverables.
- Support live deal execution and pipeline development assignments as required.
Candidate Profile- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong interest in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, and financial research.
- Good research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good written English and ability to summarize information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work under deadlines.
