Andromeda (Constellation Software Inc.) is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand coverage of Indian Vertical Market Software businesses. This role is focused on outbound M&A origination, founder relationship building, and market research across India.
You will identify, engage, and nurture long‑term relationships with founders, CEOs, and intermediaries (investment banks, brokers, law and accounting firms) as part of Constellation’s long‑term acquisition strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Source and manage acquisition targets using Salesforce
- Execute outbound outreach via calls, email, LinkedIn, and trade shows
- Communicate Constellation Software’s value proposition to founders and advisors
- Build and maintain a strong M&A pipeline through consistent activity and meetings
- Conduct company, market, and C‑suite research before engagements
- Attend industry events and trade shows representing Andromeda
- Support early‑stage M&A processes including document exchange
- Track all activity, outreach, and outcomes in Salesforce
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or M&A/Finance roles
- Strong experience in outbound sourcing / origination
- Excellent English communication and professional presence
- Strong research, analytical, and relationship‑building skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and research tools
- Self‑starter mindset with high ownership, persistence, and curiosity
- Genuine interest in M&A and software investing
