Position: HR Manager - Luxury Retail
Location: Hyderabad
Salary: up to 9 LPA
Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage end-to-end HR functions for a luxury retail setup. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in talent acquisition, HR operations, and employee management, with prior experience in the jewellery or luxury retail industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align HR practices with business goals while ensuring seamless store operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for store and corporate roles
- Develop hiring strategies to meet business expansion and store requirements
- Manage internal and external hiring channels, including consultants
- Ensure timely closure of positions with quality talent
2. HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee employee lifecycle management (onboarding to exit)
- Ensure smooth payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Drive HR audits, documentation, and MIS reporting
3. Retail HR Management:
- Partner with business heads/store managers to understand manpower needs
- Ensure optimal staffing and workforce productivity across locations
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
4. Performance & Engagement:
- Drive performance management systems (KPIs, KRAs, appraisals)
- Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Build a strong organizational culture aligned with brand values
5. Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the HR team
- Ensure effective coordination across departments and locations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and HR operations
- Prior experience in retail/jewellery/luxury segment preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- Experience in luxury retail or jewellery industry
- Exposure to multi-location/store HR management
