International Operations and Plans Support SME

Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Experience Required
  • 2 years’ experience working at a TSOC or higher-level command
  • 2 years’ experience planning and/or managing military operations
  • 1 year experience in a multinational environment. Experience can be military, academic, business, non-governmental organization, or with another agency of the US Government
  • Current DoD Secret clearance and eligible for SECRET access.
 
Job Objective
The purpose of this task is to provide support to the J3-I mission, accelerate collaboration and interoperability between international Special Operations partners to more effectively deter in competition, respond in crisis, and prevail in conflict.
 
Responsibilities
  • Provide planning expertise in support of planning and coordinating international engagement events, seminars, and conferences
  • Provide support to the management of operations section/center procedures to include but not limited to battle tracking, battle rhythm events and management
  • Assist in the development and preparation of briefings, presentation, after action reports, lessons learned and readouts of events
  • Assist in the coordination, planning and execution of international bilateral and multilateral engagements.
