Medical & Clinician Scientist Program (MCSP)

The MCSP is a structured funding program of the Faculty of Medicine to support young scientists at the LMU University Hospital who are pursuing an academic career and further development in university medicine. The aim of ad personam funding is to support outstanding young scientists at LMU University Hospital in their academic career development and to prepare the next generation of scientists for their future tasks in the best possible way. The MCSP includes flexibility and security for research - to realize a promising and profile-building research project, to acquire third-party funding and to set up your own working group - as well as individual qualification, intensive support for career development and the opportunity for interdisciplinary networking.

The Faculty of Medicine consists of preclinical and clinical-theoretical institutes as well as the LMU University Hospital. It is the largest medical training institution in Germany.
