Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site ETP-ZLD Operator role based in Krishnagiri. The ETP-ZLD Operator will oversee and manage the operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant to ensure efficiency and compliance with environmental standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring plant equipment, taking routine samples, conducting tests to assess wastewater quality, and documenting operational data. The role also involves performing scheduled maintenance and addressing any operational faults to maintain system integrity and functionality.
Qualifications
- Operation &Maintenance of ETP-ZLD plants.
- Handling the PT (DAF, MBBR, and HRSCC), UF, RO plants, and Stripper, MEE, MVRE, &ATFD, Thermic fluid heater, boilers, and sludge dewatering plants.
- Communicating and coordinate effectively with technicians, designers, engineers and project managers for the for the preparation of high-quality work products.
- Maintaining and optimizing the chemical dosing for primary treatment and UF, RO chemical cleaning for efficient plant operations.
- Scheduling & implementing the PM (Preventive Maintenance) of Mechanical, Electrical and instrumentation for all equipment’s.
- Monitoring and maintaining parameters as required and water analysis as per the system requirement.
- Daily conducting safety meeting, Toolbox talk, checking safety measures, weekly and monthly safety meeting, arranging training classes.
- Performing the JAR TEST daily basis.
- Checking COD, BOD, DO, TSS, MLSS, SVI, F/M Ratio, FOG, Hardness, alkalinity and chloride tests
- Attention to detail, documentation, and ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Flexible and proactive with a positive attitude towards on-site tasks
- Diploma, or relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in ETP-ZLD plants is an advantage
