Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an LSA/FFA Technician. Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA), diagnosing and repairing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The technician will be expected to perform regular checks, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide detailed service reports. Collaboration with the team and adherence to safety protocols are essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance, repair, and inspection of Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA).
- Knowledge of regulations and maritime safety standards.
- Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and ability to identify and fix mechanical issues.
- Strong communication skills for report writing and coordination with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Prior work experience in the maritime industry or relevant certification will be an advantage.
