Finance Business Partner in the Global Finance Department to join us in our European HQ based in Amsterdam.
Summary:
In this role you will act as a business partner for our European markets. On a daily basis you will be the Single point of contact (SPOC) for the region for finance related questions and work together with the management team to support and challenge their daily activities. In this dynamic role you are in charge of analysing the cluster’s performance, challenging business cases, reviewing marketing campaigns and optimising margin.
The role will ensure the timely and accurate capture of financial information/output necessary for effective management decisions. You will be supported by our central Finance team in Amsterdam and report directly to the head of commercial finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- SPOC for the markets regarding finance related questions
- Part of region management team
- Validate business cases, investments, deals, discount and price setting etc.
- Support (external & Internal) audits
- Support central business controlling team with forecast and planning
- Ensure that effective internal controls are established, maintained and monitored across the company. Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Monitor and analyse financial data and produce reports to the organization to share business insights and drive decision
- Project Management lead and support on a wide range of finance and company projects
- Safe guarding the integrity of the financial function
What you'll bring:
- University level education with a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting & Control
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Business Control or commercial finance role, preferably in a fast-paced or international environment.
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong technical knowledge of an ERP (SAP), excellent Excel skills
- Excellent linguistic skills in English
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic to contribute to team goals with a strong desire for continuous learning
- Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Strong work ethic with a desire to drive improvements and achieve results
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to travel
