Role Description The Loss Prevention Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for safeguarding company assets across restaurant and retail operations. The role involves monitoring store activities, reviewing surveillance footage, and conducting routine inspections to identify and mitigate theft, fraud, and policy violations. The specialist will support investigations into internal and external incidents, document findings, and collaborate with store management to implement corrective and preventive measures. Daily tasks include overseeing physical security standards, assisting with inventory audits, analyzing shrinkage trends, and recommending process improvements to reduce losses. The Loss Prevention Specialist will also train team members on loss prevention best practices, ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Retail Loss Prevention, with experience implementing policies and procedures to reduce shrinkage and protect assets.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Physical Security and Surveillance, including use of CCTV systems, access controls, and routine security checks.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Investigation, with the ability to conduct discreet inquiries, gather evidence, prepare reports, and support resolution of incidents.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Inventory Control, including participation in stock audits, reconciliation of discrepancies, and analysis of inventory data.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work with data and reports.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, finance, and store teams, and to deliver training where needed.
- Relevant experience in QSR, hospitality, retail, or foodservice environments is preferred, along with familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
- A diploma or degree in business, commerce, security management, or a related field is beneficial; professional certifications in loss prevention or security are an advantage.
