Role Description The Loss Prevention Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at ITC Hotels in Gwalior. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring loss prevention policies and procedures to safeguard hotel assets, guests, and team members. Day-to-day activities include overseeing physical security measures, supervising security staff, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating CCTV and access control systems. The Loss Prevention Manager investigates theft, fraud, and policy violations, performs regular inventory checks, and collaborates with operations, finance, and front office teams to minimize shrinkage and operational risks. The role also involves training staff on security protocols, emergency response, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while preparing incident reports and recommending continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Retail Loss Prevention and Inventory Control to minimize shrinkage and protect hotel assets.
- Proficiency in Physical Security and Security Management, including surveillance systems, access control, and safety procedures.
- Experience conducting Fraud Investigations, incident analysis, and root-cause assessments to address and prevent security breaches.
- Knowledge of risk management, emergency response planning, and compliance with local safety and security regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising security or loss prevention teams in hospitality, retail, or similar environments.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to train staff, coordinate with multiple departments, and interface with external agencies.
- Relevant education in security management, hospitality management, criminology, or a related field; professional certifications in security or loss prevention are an advantage.
