Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Pre-School Teacher to play a pivotal role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children in our vibrant preschool community. This position is essential for fostering a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. The Lead Pre-School Teacher will oversee curriculum implementation, mentor junior teaching staff, and collaborate with parents and administrators to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational journey. With 4+ years of experience in early childhood education, this individual will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of teaching excellence and promoting a culture of curiosity, creativity, and compassion.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood development milestones.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote exploration, creativity, and foundational learning skills.
- Mentor and support junior teachers through observations, feedback, and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with parents to share progress updates, address concerns, and encourage home-school collaboration.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Participate in curriculum reviews, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives to enhance educational quality.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a preschool teacher.
- Strong understanding of child development stages and play-based learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching and documentation.
