Job details:
We're looking for an editor who hates boring films.
Here's what we don't want:
- A 10-minute corporate film with a baritone voiceover, stock music, and a CEO talking to camera about "our journey since 1994."
Here's what we do want:
- The kind of edit that makes someone forget they're watching a brand film.
Company Description
Blufox Media makes long-form documentary-style films for companies. We treat every project like it deserves a Netflix shelf. Real structure. Real tension. Real pacing. Talking heads that feel like confessions. B-roll that carries weight. A cut that lands.
If you've watched Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Abstract, or The Last Dance and thought "I want to make something that feels like that" , keep reading.
What the work looks like
You'll edit long-form brand documentaries, typically 10 to 40 minutes, for companies across manufacturing, food, heritage, and industry. Raw footage comes to you. Your job is to find the story inside it and build something that holds.
No two projects are the same. One month it's a fishmeal company in coastal Karnataka. The next, a cotton saree revival in Udupi. You'll need to care about the subject, at least while you're in the edit.
You're probably right for this if
You've cut long-form documentary or factual content before, not just reels or ad films. You think in structure ,acts, turns, reveals, rhythm. You're comfortable working without a locked script and finding the story in the selects. You know Premiere, DaVinci, or Final Cut well enough to also handle a rough sound mix when needed. You're based in Bengaluru, you work well remotely, and you communicate clearly over text.
The details
This is project-based, remote work. Not a full-time role.
